A motion to exclude Arlene Foster as First Minister has passed the required number of signatures, the SDLP said.

The party said 30 MLAs from across the SDLP, UUP, Alliance Party, Green Party, People Before Profit and TUV had backed the motion, meaning it has passed the threshold.
An SDLP statement said: "The Speaker has now confirmed to SDLP chief whip Alex Attwood MLA that he will summon members to a meeting of the Assembly on Monday 19 December to debate the Ministerial Exclusion Motion."
A meeting of the Assembly Business Committee will take place at 4.30pm on Friday to agree further details.
