Social media: PSNI on or off message?

A recent posting by the PSNI on social media that gained attention over the physical appearance of the officer involved has become a source of debate.

The post was originally aimed at providing traffic and travel information for the T-Vital concert in Belfast, but the PSNI reacted after the attention their officer was receiving for his good looks.

However, some people have criticised the light-hearted posting from the police on social media, which said that anyone wanting to see more of the officer could always apply.
