Leah McCourt claims gold at IMMAF final

Belfast’s Leah McCourt has claimed gold at the IMMAF World Championships in Las Vegas.

The 23-year-old MMA fighter beat German Julia Dorney by TKO due to strikes, to take the top prize in the Featherweight class.

Tweeting before the fight, Leah had said it was tough being away from her daughter Isabella and it will now be an even happier reunion as she returns home with a gold medal.
