Missing Belfast man’s body found on Cave Hill
The body of missing Belfast man Michael Cullen has been found on Cave Hill more than three weeks after he was last seen, according to his family.
Relatives and friends of the 33-year-old undertook extensive efforts to find him, launching social media campaigns and distributing flyers across the city.
But on Wednesday, they said it was “with the heaviest of hearts” that they had to let people know Michael’s body had been found.
“The specialist rescue team are now bringing him back to his family home,” a statement said.
They paid tribute to Michael as a “highly talented guy” - but also as a “much loved son, brother and friend”.
Police have confirmed that a body has been found and that formal identification and a post mortem examination will take place in due course.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
