Thousands of people have turned out to take part in or watch the Twelfth of July parades across Northern Ireland.

Major demonstrations are being held in Armagh and Belfast, while Ballymena is once again hosting its annual event.

The loyalist parades are traditionally held to mark King William of Orange’s victory over James II at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.
