In his heyday, Stan Bowles was one of the legendary characters of English football.

Tremendously gifted - and always the rebel - he was one of few to be mentioned in the same breath as George Best.

Now, though, the spark that once lit up the terraces has been dimmed by Alzheimer's - and a benefit match to help him has been organised.
