Storm Doris: Woman killed by falling debris

A woman has been killed in Wolverhampton city centre in a Storm Doris-related incident.

Flights have been cancelled and commuters faced travel chaos as Storm Doris hit the UK, with winds reaching speeds of more than 90mph.

A man was literally blown off his feet, the roof of a Lidl was blown off in Blackpool and Coronation Street had to stop filming.

Eleven hurt after storm winds topple double-decker bus

Storm Doris winds have toppled a double-decker bus onto its side in Cambridgeshire, injuring 11 people.

No-one was left in a serious or life-threatening condition after the toppling on Lynn Road in Wisbech just before 1.15pm.

East of England Ambulance Service said 15 people were assessed at the scene and the 11 with minor injuries were taken to two nearby hospitals.

The X1 service was travelling from West Walton to Walton Highway.
