Identity of paedophile football coach revealed

One of the former paedophile football coaches who preyed on young boys has been identified by his victim.

Frank Roper, who had strong links to Blackpool FC, took aspiring footballers on tours abroad with the promise of one day playing for the Tangerines.

One of those boys was former England international Paul Stewart, who named his abuser after learning that Roper had died.

A number of alleged victims claim Roper "groomed" them by plying them with gifts, such as football boots and shirts.

Mr Stewart says he is "disappointed" that Roper cannot be brought to justice, ITV News Correspondent Ben Chapman reports.
