US President elect Donald Trump has met with President Barack Obama at the White House following yesterday's election victory.

Mr Trump said he had discussed "a lot of situations, including some difficulties" with the serving President - and said he looked forward to more meetings together.

Canada immigration website down as Trump nears presidency

Canada's immigration and citizenship website appeared to be repeatedly crashing in the wake of the US election count.

The website, which deals with Canadian immigration applications, displayed "internal server problem" messages when people attempted accessing it.

Some people speculated it could be down due to a surge in traffic on the site as Donald Trump inched closer to the presidency.
