Prince Harry donates to #filltheseats campaign

Prince Harry has made a personal donation to the #filltheseats campaign, which is aimed at purchasing Paralympics tickets for local Brazilian children.

The campaign comes after Rio's organising committee admitted that it had not raised enough money to fund the Games, meaning some countries will not be able to compete, and leaving many stands empty.

The campaign would enable children from the local community to participate in the Games, a change from the Olympics which saw locals effectively being shut out of celebrations.

The young royal is lending his support to the campaign as he follows his Invictus Games champions competing at Rio.
