Youngest Team GB athlete Tinkler wins gymnastics bronze

Team GB's youngest athlete Amy Tinkler has won bronze in the women's gymnastics floor exercise final.

Tinkler, 16, broke down in tears after securing third place with a score of 14.933.

Crowds clapped along to the upbeat music accompanying Tinkler's performance, which began with a clean start and continued with an elegant and sleek routine.

Commentators described her as a "very powerful" and "expressive" gymnast who "wowed the crowd more than anyone else".

Tinkler won gold in the 2015 British Championships - a feat she repeated in 2016.
