Jo Cox: MP 'was preparing report on far-right nationalists' before she was killed

Police are investigating possible links to right-wing extremism in their investigation into the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox.

Tories 'will not contest Batley and Spen by-election'

The Conservative Party will not contest the by-election called as a result of the death of sitting Batley and MP Jo Cox, Downing Street has said.

Following the tragic killing of Labour MP Jo Cox, the Conservative Party has decided not to contest the forthcoming by-election as a mark of respect to a much-loved and respected politician.
