Sir Philip Green: 'I'll hold my hands up if I've done wrong'

Sir Philip Green told MPs he would "hold his hands up" if he has done something wrong as he began giving evidence to MPs over the collapse of BHS.

If I've done something wrong, I'm happy to hold my hands up and say I've done something wrong. You can be your own judge.

I don't tell lies, I tell it exactly as it is.

– Sir Philip Green

He added: "Probably the thing that got me into trouble was having a too strong emotional tie to the people and the business.

"I just want to apologise to all the BHS people who are involved in this and have been involved."

BHS's collapse has left a potential 11,000 jobs at risk and a £571 million pensions black hole.
