Leadsom accuses Remain of 'miserable scaremongering'

Andrea Leadsom, speaking for Leave, said: "This scaremongering has got to stop from the Remain side. The fact is they have no evidence for their assertions about what happens to the economy.

"The Treasury forecast - let's deal with that. They assumed a basic trade deal with the European Union, they assumed no other trade - not even the existing EU free trade agreements and no trade in 15 years and not only that but because we had no trade we'd all sit around and productivity would go down, that's why they've come out with these numbers. It's absolute nonsense. It is miserable scaremongering."
