David Cameron has said remaining in the EU is Britain's best chance to thrive.

The prime minister said there was "a real consensus that we would be worse off if we leave", with many economic experts warning of the dangers of Brexit.

He admitted "forecasters don't always get it right", but added: "I don't remember a time when had such a consensus."

Mr Cameron said Britain could survive outside the EU. However, he said: "We could find a way, but in my view it's not the right way."
