CCTV footage shows moment Aleppo hospital is bombed

CCTV footage obtained by Channel 4 News shows a paediatric hospital in Aleppo just before - and after - it was bombed last week.

Al Quds field hospital, located in a rebel-held area in Aleppo, was hit by an airstrike on Wednesday.

The attack killed one of the last paediatricians left in the city, Dr Muhammad Waseem Maaz, along with other staff and patients.

He can be seen walking in the corridor of the hospital shortly before the first explosion.

More than 250 people have died in shellings and airstrikes in the northern city of Aleppo over the past nine days, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
