It will be a cold start for most of England, Wales and Northern Ireland and although there may be some mist and fog in some areas to begin with, skies will be mostly clear.

However in south Wales and south-west England it will be cloudy and windy, with gales along the coasts.

Through the day, northern England will be staying sunny, but cloud will thicken across the Midlands, Wales, and the south-east, with rain pushing into south Wales and south-west England.

It will also be a cloudy start to the day in Scotland, with some rain around, which will move northwards throughout the day, leaving southern Scotland with sunny skies for the afternoon.

Top temperature 14 Celsius (57 F).
