EU leaders agree on migrant deal with Turkey

President of the European Council Donald Tusk has confirmed all EU leaders have reached an agreement with Turkey's prime minister to curb the migration crisis.

The new arrangements could come into force as soon as Sunday after a revised deal was reached between Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu and European Council president Donald Tusk in Brussels.

Turkey asks for more aid cash to take back migrants

Turkey has requested an increase to the promised €3 billion (£2.3 billion) in aid pledged by the EU for the country to take back migrants at an emergency summit on the migrant crisis in Brussels, Europe Editor James Mates has tweeted.
