Greek coastguard 'arrest armed Britons' near Turkish border

Two Britons suspected of carrying guns and ammunition have been arrested in Greece near the border with Turkey, according to reports.

The men, thought to be in their 20s, were reportedly arrested on Saturday night by coastguard officers in the port city of Alexandroupolis.

A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "We are urgently looking into reports that two British nationals have been detained in Greece."
