Man City youngster heads out to Spain on loan
Manchester City right-back Pablo Maffeo has joined Spanish side Girona on loan after signing a new three-year contract extension with the Premier League club.
The defender has appeared on the City bench a number of times this season but is yet to make a first-team appearance.
Girona, who play in the Spanish second division, already have Chidiebere Nwakali, Florian Lejeune and Ruben Soriano on loan from Manchester City.
