This is the dramatic moment a man escaped from his submerged Land Rover with just minutes to spare.
The driver was trapped inside his car and had to be pulled free from the sunroof after rescuers battled against the current to get to him.
Cheered on by those watching, the rescue team manage to reach him after a second attempt.
But they are forced to rip open the sunroof to get him out as flood water continue to rise around him in Mytholmroyd in West Yorkshire.
The man was taken to dry land and on to hospital to check he was okay.
