Egypt plane crash investigators "90% sure" the explosion heard on the black box recording of the Russian flight was a bomb, a member of the investigation team told Reuters.

A memorial service for the 224 victims of the crash was be held in St Petersburg today.

Russian plane crash: Bodies transported to Cairo morgue

Rescue teams in Egypt have begun transporting the bodies of the Russian air crash victims to a morgue in Cairo.

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said:

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail arrived at Kabrit airport accompanied by several ministers...He was briefed on the measures adopted to evacuate 15 bodies to be carried by air to Zenhoum morgue in Cairo.

A medical team has given serial numbers to the bodies of the dead who were found in the site of the crash to start taking the required samples and other measures to identify the bodies of the dead.

All 224 passengers and crew are said to have died in the crash.
