Family of young Sainsbury's bus crash victim pay tribute to 'adorable' son

The family of a seven-year-old who was killed when a double-decker bus crashed into the front of a Sainsbury's supermarket have paid tribute to their "adorable and caring" son.

Rowan Fitzgerald, 7, of Leamington Spa, was one of two people who lost their lives when the bus crashed into the shop front in Coventry.

Dora Hancox, 76, of Nuneaton, also died in the crash on October 3.

'Several injured' as bus crashes into supermarket

Emergency services are at the scene after a double-decker bus crashed into a supermarket in Coventry, West Midlands Ambulance Services has said.

A spokesperson for the service told ITV News it had numerous staff and resources in attendance and believed several people had been injured in the crash on Trinity Street.

Pictures posted on Twitter by one onlooker showed the Stagecoach bus badly damaged and with smashed windows.

The number and extent of the injuries is currently unclear.
