At least one person has died and 15 others injured in Chile following a strong earthquake off the country's west coast.
The mayor of Illapel, a town near the epicentre of the quake, said on a radio broadcast that one person had been killed by a collapsing wall, and 15 others were reported injured.
Reports from the Reuters news agency say the quake was felt as far away as the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, on the eastern coast of South America.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
