Palestinian toddler killed in suspected arson attack

An 18-month-old Palestinian child has been killed in a suspected arson attack by Jewish extremists in the occupied West Bank.

Several people were injured in the house fire in a village near the West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli police said.

A Palestinian toddler killed in an arson attack by suspected Jewish terrorists has been named as Ali Dawabshe.

The 18-month-old died and three of his family members, including his four-year-old brother, were injured.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned the attack and ordered Ali's killers be brought to justice.

In a statement, he added: "On behalf of Israel's citizens, I would like to share in the sorrow of Ali Dawabshe's family and wish a quick recovery to injured family members."
