Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a house fire in Derbyshire.
Amy Smith, 17; her six month old daughter Ruby Gaunt and Ed Green, 17, died in the blaze at the flat in Langley Mill.
Neighbours of the house which caught fire this morning, killing three people, have described how they battled to help those stuck inside before emergency services arrived.
One man, who did not wish to be named, told the Derby Telegraph: "There were about 20 of us fetching ladders to reach the floors and we managed to get some people out."
Meanwhile John Dunkley, a watch manager with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, tweeted: "Terrible night shift. Thoughts with all personnel from all emergency services involved at Langley Mill this morning."
