Three people found alive days after Nepal earthquake

Three people have been pulled out alive from the rubble of their home days after Nepal's devastating earthquake, an official has said.

Other developments include:

  • The number of confirmed deaths has risen to more than 8,000, an official from Nepal's home ministry said.

Nepal earthquake: PM says UK will do all it can to help

The United Kingdom will do all it can to help in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.

The quake has so far claimed over 1,000 lives.

British charities are preparing to help to deal with the disaster, while Prime Minister David Cameron took to Twitter to express the country's support.
