Oldham Athletic sponsor CM Solicitors have given the club their full backing with regards to any decision they make regarding the signing of Ched Evans.
A spokesman for CM Solicitors, who have their logo on the back of the club's shirt, told ITV News: "We will support the club whatever."
The company's response is the opposite to that of the main stand sponsor at Oldham, Verlin Rainwater Solutions.
Craig Verling from the company said: "We're waiting to hear the club's decision before we release a statement but at this stage our standard is that we'll pull the plug on our sponsorship of the club, which is substantial. We don't condone it [the signing of Evans]"
