A Virgin Atlantic passenger plane has safely carried out a "non-standard" landing at Gatwick airport after suffering a landing gear problem.
The plane had left the London airport bound for Las Vegas this morning but circled over the UK for some time after the emergency landing was scheduled.
Amateur footage taken from near the runway appears to show the moment a Virgin Atlantic plane touched down at Gatwick following a landing gear issue.
The plane, due to travel to Las Vegas, had been circling over parts of the UK after returning to the airport following the problems.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
