Joe Cocker, who has passed away aged 70, was renowned for his "unique voice and passionate delivery", according to the singer's official website.
He had recorded no fewer than 23 studio albums, the last of which was 'Fire It Up' in 2012.
He had also set up a charitable foundation, the Cocker Kids Foundation in Colorado, aimed at "fostering accountability and responsibility in youth".
