Police officers charged after disabled man's murder
Three police constables and a police community support officer have been charged with misconduct in a public office over their handling of events surrounding the brutal murder of a disabled man in Bristol last year.
Bijan Ebrahimi was beaten to death and had his body set on fire after some of his neighbours wrongly claimed he was a paedophile.
Three police constables are accused of failing to respond to calls for help and allegations made by Ebrahimi.
A police community support officer is alleged to have given false information to a 999 operator, claiming he was outside his house "at an important time".
