Businesswoman calls for more diversity in boardrooms

The first businesswoman to top a list of the most influential black people in Britain has called on companies to ensure they are "widening" their door when employing candidates.

Karen Blackett, who came top of the Powerlist, said companies should interview at least one non-white candidate when taking on executives.
