School carnage another contentious moment in Gaza
I am at a UN-run school in the Jebalya refugee camp - one of the most populated refugee camps on the Gaza strip.
Locals here say this place was hit by several rounds, just as they were preparing to pray before dawn. Two hit a classroom, while another hit a toilet block, causing utter carnage.
The Israeli military says it is investigating the incident, which comes just six days after another UN school in Beit Hanoun, which was hit by an errant Israeli shell last Thursday.
In that case, Israel later released video showing a shell exploding in an empty playground.
They maintain that no-one could have been killed in that explosion, but people we spoke to on the ground during that incident said that many, many people were killed and injured.
This again will be another very contentious incident in this war, a war which at this moment has no end in sight.
