Ed Sheeran scores longest running No.1 album this year

Ed Sheeran's new album X has become the longest-running number one album of the year after four consecutive weeks in the top spot.

The second album from the singer sold more than 367,000 copies in the UK, according to the UK's Official Charts Company.

The Suffolk musician stole the record from Paolo Nutini, whose album Caustic Love spent three weeks at the top of the charts in April.
