Islamic State leader calls for jihad in audio message

The leader of the Islamic State, formerly Isis, has released the first audiotape calling for jihad since the group renamed. The group is currently battling Iraqi forces across large parts of the country.

US vows help as Isis threaten to redraw Iraq's borders

Unverified pictures appear to show Isis fighters on the streets near Iraq's embattled western border, as John Kerry today confirmed Barack Obama's offer to help in the fight against the Islamist militants.
