The People, a Kenyan daily newspaper, has tweeted pictures of the damaged caused by gunmen in yesterday's attacks on Mpeketoni.

Vehicles outside the Mpeketoni police station were torched (above).
Gunmen also attacked three hotels and a petrol station in the town.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
