Sick tortoise on mend thanks to human cancer drugs

Sick tortoise Humphrey is slowly recovering from a serious case of gout after being being treated with human cancer drugs.

The 80-year-old was left with painful swelling joints after years of eating vegetables.

The Norfolk Tortoise Club feared they would have to put him down but he became well again within a week after vet Sarah Pellet came up with the idea of administering medication used to treat leukemia.
