Baltacha was British number one for nearly three years, only retired from the sport in 2013 and was diagnosed with a rare liver condition when she was 19.
She managed the condition throughout her career with medication and regular blood tests and went on to win 11 singles titles.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
