US warns against Russian military intervention in Ukraine
The United States has warned Russia that it would be a "grave mistake" to embark on military intervention in Ukraine.
Medvedev questions Ukraine interim leaders
Russia's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev says the legitimacy of current authorities in Ukraine is in doubt and the recognition of them by some states is an "aberration".
"We do not understand what is going on there. There is a real threat to our interests and to the lives of our citizens," Medvedev was quoted by Russian news agencies as saying.
"There are big doubts about the legitimacy of a whole series of organs of power that are now functioning there."
