Man jailed for 3 years for threatening to kill Prince Harry

A man who walked into a police station and told a police officer he wanted to kill Prince Harry has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Ashraf Islam, 31, was arrested after making the threat in May last year. Islam was born Mark David Townley in Belfast, but changed his named to Ashraf Islam following his conversion to Islam.

He normally lived in Northern Ireland but was of no fixed address at the time he was charged.
