Woody Allen publishes article denying abuse claims
US film director Woody Allen has written an article hitting back at allegations he molested Dylan Farrow, the adopted daughter of his former partner Mia Farrow.
In a highly charged 2,000 word feature in the New York Times, Allen accuses Farrow of being a "raging adversary" who poisoned Dylan against him and coached her to make the claim.
Dylan Farrow wrote last week in the New York Times that Mr Allen sexually abused her in 1992 when she was seven years old.
Accusing Farrow of mounting a "campaign" against him out of revenge for his affair with another one of her adopted daughters, Soon Yi-Previn when she was around 19, he said:
"Of course, I did not molest Dylan. I loved her and hope one day she will grasp how she has been cheated out of having a loving father and exploited by a mother more interested in her own festering anger than her daughter’s wellbeing."
Woody Allen married Soon Yi-Previn in 1997 and they have two adopted children.
