Russia's President Vladimir Putin has vowed to "fiercely and consistently continue the fight against terrorists until their complete annihilation" following the twin suicide bomb attacks on the city of Volgograd.
Russian state television has aired footage of the moment a suicide bomber is reported to have set off a deadly blast at the Volgograd train station in the south of the country.
Footage from a security camera facing the station that was broadcast by Rossiya 24 television showed the moment of explosion: a bright orange flash inside the station behind the main gate followed by plumes of smoke.
The explosion has killed at least 18 people, according to reports.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
