Three previous Prime Ministers - Sir John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown - are to join current PM David Cameron at the memorial ceremony for Nelson Mandela in South Africa tomorrow, Downing Street said.
Veteran anti-apartheid campaigner, former Archbishop of Cape Town Desmond Tutu, held a mass in Cape Town's Anglican St George's Cathedral this morning.
"Let us give him the gift of a South Africa united, one," Tutu said.
"God, thank you for the gift of Madiba. Thank you for what he is has enabled us to know what we can become."
