Jonathan Trott has said he needs a break from cricket to focus on his recovery from a stress-related illness, as it was revealed the batsman will play no further part in the Ashes tour.
"I don’t feel it's right that I'm playing knowing that I'm not 100 percent and I cannot currently operate at the level I have done in the past", Trott said in a statement.
"My priority now is to take a break from cricket so that I can focus on my recovery".
"I want to wish my team mates all the very best for the remainder of the tour”.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
