Riot police surround protesters in Jaffna
Riot police with shields and batons were in force in Jaffna as pro-Government protesters gathered for David Cameron's visit to the war-torn city.
The protesters waved signs saying 'no interference' and 'leave us in peace' outside Jaffna library as Cameron was driven to the building.
One Tamil Protest leader told ITV's Bill Neely that it would have been better if Cameron hadn't come because "he's making President Rajapaksa's summit more successful".
