'Bleak situation' in ravaged areas of Philippines
The situation in the Philippines is "bleak" according to aid workers desperately trying to help survivors of Typhoon Haiyan which has left the country devastated.
The Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) organisation said access to stricken areas was extremely difficult and was preventing victims receiving much-needed help.
Teams on the ground said entire villages, which have been completely flattened by the disaster, are yet to be reached by any aid organisations.
MSF said it was rapidly increasing its response to the disaster with further medical staff, including doctors and sanitation experts, and nine planeloads of aid material due to arrive in the coming days.
