Vietnam authorities evacuate 883,000 people
Authorities in Vietnam have moved 883,000 people in 11 central provinces to safe zones, in preparation for the arrival of Typhoon Haiyan.
The Typhoon has weakened substantially since hitting the Philippines, although it is likely to still hit Vietnam at speeds of around 75mph.
The Foreign Office is advising travellers to the popular holiday destination to follow advice from local authorities, and has teams on standby in Hue and Da Nang to assist any British nationals.
