Knox appeal trial: 'New findings' on murder weapon
Amanda Knox's defence team are expected to tell the Italian court where she is facing a retrial that the knife allegedly used to murder British student Meredith Kercher in 2007 had no traces of the victim on it.
The key piece of evidence - which has traces of Knox's DNA on it - “seems less and less likely to be the murder weapon,” Luciano Ghirga, a lawyer for Knox, told Bloomberg.
His comments were based on the experts' report.
