Cameron: Miliband's price freeze 'struck a chord'

David Cameron acknowledged that Ed Miliband had "struck a chord" with his promise to freeze energy prices.

Speaking to the Agenda with Tom Bradby the Prime Minister said that the last few years had been "tough" but that freezing prices was not the way to help people:

He definitely struck a chord on energy prices. The truth is people are struggling, it's been a very very tough few years. There's a certain amount you can do freezing prices. At the end of the day, the way you help people is more jobs, better jobs and keeping their taxes down.
