The remorse of the mother of Baby P will no be a deciding factor in her release, the Chairman of the National Association of Probation Officers (NAPO) has told Daybreak.
Tom Rendon said the deciding factor in Tracey Connelly's release from prison would be the safety of the public.
It was also "unlikely" if Ms Connelly was released, she would be moved back to Tottenham, where Baby P died in August 2007.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
